Investor Readiness Diagnostic

A structured, paid readiness evaluation for companies preparing for capital conversations.

What This Is

The Investor Readiness Diagnostic is a short, intensive engagement designed to answer one question clearly:

Is this company structurally, psychologically, and operationally ready to absorb capital?

This is not fundraising. This is not pitch preparation. This is not advisory theatre. It is a disciplined evaluation of readiness before time, emotion, or capital is committed.

Who This Is For

  • Founders preparing for investor conversations within 6–12 months
  • Companies seeking to reduce single-founder dependency
  • Leadership teams willing to examine governance and risk honestly
  • Businesses that understand readiness is work, not presentation

If you are looking for investor introductions, guaranteed outcomes, or fast-track fundraising, this is not the right engagement.

What the Diagnostic Covers

Governance & Decision Structure

  • How decisions are currently made
  • Concentration of authority
  • Founder-dependency risks
  • Early indicators of governance failure

Leadership & Operating Discipline

  • Role clarity across key members
  • Accountability patterns
  • Behavioral signals under pressure

Financial Readiness (Pre-Audit)

  • Financial clarity and consistency
  • Gaps likely to surface during investor scrutiny

This is not a statutory or financial audit.

Readiness Risk Mapping

  • Structural risks
  • Psychological and control risks
  • Operational absorption capacity
  • Alignment gaps between narrative and reality

What You Receive

  • A written Readiness Risk Memo
  • Clear articulation of gaps and constraints
  • One of three outcomes:
    • Proceed toward readiness work
    • Pause and restructure internally
    • Do not pursue capital at this stage

Commercial Terms (Diagnostic)

  • Fee: ₹75,000 – ₹1,25,000
  • Duration: 2–3 weeks
  • Nature: Paid, scoped, non-refundable

The 6-Month Investor Readiness Engagement

Completion of the diagnostic does not automatically lead to a longer engagement. After the diagnostic, both parties collectively decide whether a 6-month engagement is appropriate.

Months 1–2: Structural Stabilization

  • Leadership role clarification
  • Reduction of single-person dependency
  • Formation of internal decision committees

Months 3–4: Financial & Operational Hardening

  • Preparation for third-party audit (external CA)
  • Operational resilience improvements
  • Risk escalation pathways

Months 5–6: Investor Readiness

  • Internal alignment for investor scrutiny
  • Leadership response discipline training
  • Preparation for capital conversations

Commercial Terms (6-Month Engagement)

  • Typical Fee: ₹3–6 lakhs
  • Milestone-based, not success-based
  • Excludes fundraising, introductions, and audits

Engagement & Payment Structure

The diagnostic process may indicate that a deeper, structured engagement is required. Such engagements typically span 3 to 6 months and are designed to work alongside your leadership team as a remote strategic layer.

Indicative Engagement Range: ₹3–6 lakhs
(Structured across time, not collected as a single transaction)

As these engagements are advisory in nature and unfold over time, payments are not expected upfront or in a single installment. Instead, we offer multiple practical ways to structure the engagement based on mutual comfort and working style.

  • Monthly engagement model: A fixed monthly fee for ongoing strategic involvement over 3–6 months
  • Onboarding + phased payments: An initial onboarding fee followed by milestone-based payments
  • Session-based / daily split model: Suitable where advisory involvement is limited to specific days or calls

Payments for phased or session-based work can be settled via UPI for convenience, and details are discussed transparently before any engagement begins.

We do not automate long-term engagements on this website. All such work begins with a diagnostic conversation to ensure alignment, clarity of scope, and mutual readiness.

If the diagnostic indicates that such an engagement may be useful, the next step is a direct discussion to determine whether, how, and in what structure working together makes sense.

Important Boundaries

  • No fundraising or investor introductions
  • No outcome guarantees
  • No replacement of statutory professionals
